A passing out religious parade was held by the Armour Training School (ATS) on Sunday, 13 September 2026, at the 3 Infantry Battalion Auditorium inside Liberation Barracks.
Centred on the theme “My Life, My Testimony,” the service highlighted the recruits’ personal journeys, their steadfast discipline, and the various obstacles they successfully navigated over the course of their intense military training.
During his sermon, Imam Hassan Suallah Abusufian cited Quran 14:32-34 to encourage the new soldiers to maintain deep gratitude to Allah for carrying them safely through the demanding regime.
Speaking further on the theme, the Chaplain, Captain George Opoku, drew attention to the recruits’ individual testimonies. He charged them to prioritize the mission and core objectives of the Ghana Armed Forces above personal convenience.
In his address to the intake, the Commanding Officer of ATS, Lieutenant Colonel Prince Amoah, stressed that a successful military career demands total discipline, self-assurance, and unwavering respect for both military command and the general public.
The Guest of Honour, Honourable Ebenezer Kwaku Addo, Member of Parliament for Asutifi North, applauded the Commanding Officer and training instructors for their exceptional leadership and commitment. He further advised the recruits to exemplify discipline at all times, whether in or out of uniform.
Outstanding recruits who excelled during the training course were honored with awards in recognition of their achievements. The milestone event was attended by the Commanding Officer of the 3 Infantry Battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Michael Naah, personnel from the 3 Garrison, and the proud families of the graduating recruits.
