A six-member delegation from the Ophthalmic Nursing School at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH) has presented an award of honor to the hospital’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Yakubu Seidu Adam, acknowledging his exceptional leadership and commitment to improving student welfare.
The group, headed by former Student Representative Council (SRC) President Mr. Bashiru Osman, paid a courtesy visit to the CEO's office to deliver the citation.
Mr. Osman explained that the honor reflects the student body's sincere gratitude for Dr. Adam's continuous efforts to upgrade academic and residential conditions across the campus.
He also praised Dr. Adam’s accomplishments as an eye specialist, noting that his professional background, guidance, and ongoing support strongly motivate the trainee nurses.
"We present this citation to express our deep appreciation for your dedicated service, accessible leadership, and the steady guidance you provide to us as future eye care specialists," Mr. Osman said.
