Earlier today 31st July, 2026 there was a video circulating on social media where the Member of Parliament for Ahafo Ano South East, Hon Yakubu Mohammed is seen making ill remarks to a girl minor in Parliament.
The girl is said to have been part of a team of pupils from Citasel School (Sagnarigu) who payed a visit to the Parliament of Ghana last week. The remarks from the MP is generally uncalled for especially knowing that those are canal words being said to the underage girl.
Not withstanding, the MP have issued an official letter apologising to the public, school authorities, colleagues, parents and family of the girl, tating that he accepts the fact that is was wrong in his choice of words to the girl.
"I nincerely regret my choice of words and render my unreserved and unqualified apology to the relevant authorities, the schools authorities, the pupil and parents" he stated in part of his apology.
