Fuel Prices Set to Drop Significantly Across Ghana Starting July 1

In a major relief for motorists and households, the Chamber of Oil Marketing Companies (COMAC) has announced fresh reductions in the prices of petrol, diesel, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The price drops, which take effect tomorrow, July 1, 2026, represent the latest in a series of downward adjustments aimed at easing the cost of living for Ghanaians.

According to the announcement, petrol prices will decrease by between 1.94% and 9.31%, while diesel will see reductions ranging from 7.67% to 10.20%. LPG consumers stand to benefit the most, with prices expected to fall by 24.50% to 26.86%.
