The Member of Parliament for the Agotime-Ziope Constituency, Hon. Charles Agbeve, has revealed plans to equip the Kpetoe Health Center with a brand-new ultrasound machine. The announcement underscores the lawmaker's commitment to strengthening local healthcare infrastructure and improving medical services across the district. Once delivered, the vital diagnostic equipment is expected to significantly reduce the need for residents to travel long distances for essential medical scans.

The MP disclosed this initiative during the official commissioning ceremony of two newly constructed mechanised boreholes at Agotime Kpetoe. The water projects were executed to alleviate long-standing water scarcity issues in the community, giving residents access to clean and safe drinking water. Addressing the gathered chiefs, local leaders, and constituents, Hon. Agbeve highlighted that clean water access and healthcare delivery are deeply linked in building a healthy population.

Highlighting the specific benefits of the health intervention, the MP noted that the addition of an ultrasound unit will greatly enhance maternal care and emergency diagnostics at the facility. Expectant mothers and patients requiring abdominal or specialized imaging will no longer have to endure costly trips to regional hospitals in Ho or surrounding districts. The facility's management and healthcare workers welcomed the announcement, noting that modern diagnostic tools are crucial for early detection and efficient treatment.

Hon. Agbeve reaffirmed his commitment to driving community-led development initiatives throughout the Agotime-Ziope constituency. He urged community members to properly care for and maintain the newly commissioned mechanised boreholes to ensure their long-term sustainability. He further assured constituents that his office will continue to collaborate with key stakeholders, health directorates, and local leadership to address critical developmental gaps in health, sanitation, and social infrastructure.
