The Executive Council of the Volta Football Association (VFA) has officially recognized and honored Division Two clubs that have maintained active participation for a decade or more. Held at the Ho Municipal Assembly Hall on Thursday during the association's 24th Ordinary Session of Congress, the presentation celebrated the dedicated efforts of these long-serving teams in sustaining local football across the territory.
In total, twenty-five deserving clubs were presented with tactical boards to aid their coaching staff and technical operations. The gesture serves as both practical support for match preparation and a token of appreciation for each club's sustained investment in grass-roots talent, team management, and community engagement over the years.
Addressing attendees at Congress, officials highlighted the vital role these enduring clubs play in driving the development of football throughout both the Volta and Oti regions. By maintaining active operations for over ten years, these teams have provided consistent platforms for emerging players, helping strengthen the overall football ecosystem in the region.
