The spirit of teamwork and staff solidarity was on full display at Ho Teaching Hospital (HTH) as Ms. Pat Logo, a dedicated staff member of the Accounts Department, donated assorted bottles of wine in support of the hospital’s "Local Bar Experience." The event was organized for staff and clients as part of the activities marking Customer Appreciation Week 2026.
The donation formed part of broader hospital initiatives aimed at connecting, appreciating, and celebrating both staff and clients. By promoting a culture of warm hospitality, collaboration, and service excellence across all departments, the institution aimed to strengthen relationships between healthcare providers and the community they serve.
Presenting the items directly at the event grounds, Ms. Logo described the gesture as her personal contribution toward making the celebration truly memorable. She highlighted the importance of recognizing the dedication of her colleagues, who work tirelessly behind the scenes and on the front lines to deliver quality healthcare every day.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the institution, Mr. Anthony Bells Kafui Kanyi, Acting Head of the Public Relations Department at HTH, expressed deep appreciation for her generosity. He described the gesture as a practical demonstration of staff ownership, highlighting how collective commitment drives the overall success of institutional celebrations.
Reiterating the value of the gesture, Mr. Ken Mensah, Head of the Customer Care Unit, emphasized that meaningful appreciation must begin internally among colleagues before extending outward to patients. "This is what Customer Appreciation Week is about staff supporting staff and, together, showing appreciation to our clients," Mr. Mensah noted, adding that Ms. Logo's contribution greatly enhanced the excitement and success of the Local Bar Experience.
