NACOC Launches Manhunt for Frank Danquah in Narcotics Probe

​The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) has issued a wanted notice for Frank Danquah, born September 11, 1978, in connection with alleged narcotics offences.

​In a public announcement on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, the Commission called on citizens to provide any details regarding Mr. Danquah's current location. Those with relevant information are encouraged to reach NACOC directly via their toll-free number: 0800 307 307.

​While the exact nature of the charges against Mr. Danquah was not detailed in the public alert, NACOC's wanted registry notes that individuals listed are typically pursued for violations under the Narcotics Control Commission Act, 2020 (Act 1019). These infractions can include the illegal import or export of drugs, unauthorized possession, and engaging in prohibited narcotics enterprises.

​This search unfolds against a backdrop of increased vigilance over Ghana's drug enforcement operations. Just weeks prior, in early September, an investigation was launched following the seizure of approximately 3.9 tonnes of suspected cocaine at the port of Dunkirk in France, which had originated from Ghana.

​That ongoing case has already resulted in six individuals being remanded into custody. According to prosecutors, the four shipping containers involved were cleared for export at Tema Port, even after scanning procedures reportedly identified irregularities.
