The Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Hon. Edem Agbana, has announced the construction of four major educational infrastructure projects across the constituency as part of efforts to enhance teaching and learning.
The projects, which will be undertaken in Dzodze Tove, Adelakoekope, Wuti, and Agordeke, are expected to significantly reduce the infrastructural deficit in schools and create a more conducive environment for academic excellence.
According to Hon. Agbana, the projects include the construction of two 6-unit classroom blocks with auxiliary facilities at Dzodze Tove and Adelakoekope, a 3-unit kindergarten block at Wuti, and another 6-unit classroom block at Agordeke.

These facilities will be equipped with essential amenities to support both pupils and teachers, addressing challenges such as overcrowding and inadequate learning spaces that have persisted in some communities within the constituency.
He indicated that the initiative forms part of a broader development agenda aimed at investing in human capital and ensuring that children in Ketu North have access to quality education comparable to their peers in other parts of the country.
Many believe the projects will not only improve academic performance but also boost school enrollment and retention, particularly at the basic level.
The construction of these facilities is expected to bring relief to both teachers and students, while reinforcing government’s commitment to strengthening the education sector in the Ketu North District.
