Theovision International Delivers Health Screening to Ejura Camp Prison

1 min read

Theovision International’s medical team recently visited Ejura Camp Prison to provide a comprehensive health outreach benefiting both inmates and correctional officers. The initiative combined essential medical services, health education, wellness support, and spiritual encouragement.

Throughout the visit, the team delivered practical guidance on healthy lifestyle habits, emphasizing the importance of quality sleep, physical activity, balanced nutrition, and mental well-being. Officers and inmates were also educated on key health practices, such as routine medical check-ups, understanding blood group status, and raising awareness about sickle cell conditions, alongside breast and cervical cancer screenings.

To support ongoing care, Theovision International presented a donation of various medical supplies to the facility, while emphasizing the need for health personnel to monitor and ensure consistent medication compliance among inmates.

Receiving the medical supplies on behalf of the prison administration, the Station Chaplain, Rev. DSP Thomas Apraku Debrah, thanked Theovision International for their generosity and continued commitment to improving the health and well-being of the inmates.
