Ghana Receives Body of Citizen Killed in South African Xenophobic Attack

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has officially confirmed the arrival of the mortal remains of Bashiru Isak, a Ghanaian national who was tragically killed during recent xenophobic attacks in South Africa. The body arrived amid heavy emotions as state officials and grieving family members gathered to receive it. This development marks a somber moment for the nation, highlighting the ongoing risks faced by Ghanaians living and working abroad.

The remains were carefully transported and deposited at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra, where they will be held pending further arrangements.
