The Youth Employment Agency (YEA), led by Chief Executive Officer Malik Basintale, is preparing to rollout its groundbreaking YEA EV Delivery Brigade a flagship project designed to generate more than 10,000 employment opportunities for young people across Ghana.
This initiative introduces a nationwide, fully regulated, and uniformed delivery framework spanning all 16 regions. To power the program, over 10,000 electric bikes will be handed over to thoroughly trained young participants.
To ensure long-term operational success, the agency is establishing a robust network of battery charging and swapping hubs throughout the country. Additionally, beneficiaries will receive hands-on training in electric vehicle assembly, ongoing maintenance, and technical repairs.
The YEA EV Delivery Brigade marks a pivotal milestone in advancing sustainable youth employment while driving Ghana toward a cleaner, eco-friendly transport and logistics sector.
