Over 800 students benefited from the first and second cohort of the Ketu North Scholarship scheme - Hon. Edem Agbana

The Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Hon. Edem Agbana, has disclosed that a total of 821 students have so far benefited from the Ketu North Scholarship Scheme since its inception. 

According to the statistics, 421 students benefited from the first cohort of the initiative, while an additional 400 students were supported under the second cohort, reflecting the scheme’s growing impact on education in the constituency.

Hon. Agbana explained that the scholarship programme was introduced to ease the financial burden on students and their families, particularly those pursuing secondary and tertiary education. He noted that the initiative is part of his broader commitment to improving access to quality education and empowering young people within Ketu North to achieve their academic and professional goals.

He further emphasized that investing in education remains a key priority for sustainable development, adding that the scholarship scheme will continue to expand to reach more deserving students in the coming years.

The MP reaffirmed his dedication to supporting human capital development, stressing that education remains a powerful tool for transforming lives and driving progress in the constituency.
