Akatsi South Youth MP Donates Educational Materials to Local Schools to Boost Learning

​The Youth Member of Parliament for Akatsi South, Hon. Evans Edudzi Adonu, has presented essential learning materials to selected basic schools across the Akatsi South Municipality. As part of the first phase of his educational support initiative, the beneficiary institutions included Kpota M.A. Basic School, Gefia M.A. Basic School, and Atsiekpui Alavanyo M.A. Basic School. The donation package comprised exercise books, reading materials, pens, and pencils designed to relieve basic academic supply shortages in the area.

​Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Adonu emphasized that the gesture reflects his deep commitment to nurturing young talent and strengthening the educational foundation of the municipality. He noted that supporting pupils with fundamental learning resources is a vital step toward building a brighter future for the children and fostering overall community development within Akatsi South.

​Expressing sincere appreciation on behalf of the recipient institutions, the Headmaster of Gefia M.A. Basic School lauded the Youth MP for his timely intervention. He commended Hon. Adonu for prioritizing education and officially pledged that school administrators would strictly supervise the distribution and efficient use of the items to ensure maximum benefit for the students.

​The event was also welcomed by local parents, who expressed profound gratitude to the Youth MP for stepping in to support their children's education. Many noted that the donated items would significantly ease the financial burden on households and augment parental efforts in providing basic school supplies, ultimately encouraging higher attendance and improved performance in the classroom.
