Hon. Joycelyn Quarshie Tetteh (MP, North Dayi)

The North Dayi Member of Parliament Hon. Joycelyn Quarshie Tetteh has earlier this week, spearheaded the sod-cutting ceremony that took place at Vakpo Senior High School. The ceremony have seen the likes of the Volta Regional Minister Hon. James Gunu, The District Chief Executive Hon Adevor, chiefs, religious leaders and other stakeholders and government officials.

This ceremony is in the pipeline of improving Educational infrastructure most especially in the Senior High Schools across Ghana to eradicate the double track systems in the second cycle institutions. It is one of the President’s (H.E John Dramani Mahama) key targets to get Ghanaian Senior High Schools back to the single track system.

The hardworking MP assures the School's authorities and the community as a whole that work shall resume promptly and she will help on accelerating the quick execution of work by regular checks and inspections on site.

The initiative has brought joy and hope to the teachers and members of the community, the chiefs and officials present at the event. The government’s efforts to bring back the single track system into our school is beginning to take form.
