Mathilda Asinyo, a 16-year-old Junior High School 1 student at St. Theresa International School in Aflao, is currently fighting for her life. What should be a time dedicated to learning, growing, and building her future has instead turned into a harrowing medical battle. Mathilda has been diagnosed with end-stage renal condition and requires an urgent kidney transplant to survive.
She is currently admitted at the Ho Teaching Hospital (Trafalgar), where she is dependent on oxygen support and receiving continuous dialysis treatment to stay stable. While dialysis keeps her alive day by day, it is only a temporary measure. A permanent kidney transplant is her only path to full recovery and a normal life, but the high cost of the procedure presents an overwhelming financial hurdle for her family.
In light of this critical situation, Volta Today is appealing to the general public, benevolent organizations, and compassionate individuals to step forward and support Mathilda during her time of greatest need. No student should have their dreams cut short by a manageable medical emergency, and with collective effort, we can help ease the heavy burden weighing on her family's shoulders.
Every donation, no matter how small, brings Mathilda one step closer to receiving her life-saving surgery. Contributions can be made directly to 0542033068 (Harry Ahovi) to help launch and support her kidney transplant fund. Your generosity and prayers can make all the difference thank you for your kindness, and may God richly bless every cheerful giver.
