Volta Region Dominates National Cross-Country Festival: ANTECH and KEDTECH Shine Bright

The Volta Regional Technical Institute Sports Association is beaming with pride following the outstanding performances of its student-athletes at the National Invitational Cross-Country and Relay Festival, organized by the Ghana TVET Service (GTVET).

Representing the Volta Region with exceptional endurance, determination, and sportsmanship, the participating institutions delivered memorable results that have brought immense honour to the region.

ANTECH Claims Historic Double Victory

Anlo Technical Institute (ANTECH) delivered a stellar performance, emerging 1st Place in both the Boys’ and Girls’ Cross-Country categories. This remarkable double triumph underscores ANTECH’s strong commitment to sporting excellence and sets a high benchmark for technical institutions across the country.

KEDTECH Secures Strong Podium Presence

Kedzi Technical Institute (KEDTECH) also put on an impressive show, clinching 2nd Place and 3rd Place in the Boys’ Cross-Country category. The back-to-back podium finishes highlight the depth of talent and resilience within the institute’s athletic program.

These achievements reflect the hard work, discipline, and dedication of the student-athletes, their coaches, and support officials. Special commendation goes to the leadership of the Regional Coordinator, Mr. Pascal Prosper Abiti, alongside the dedicated officials from both KEDTECH and ANTECH, whose guidance and unwavering commitment played a vital role in this success.
