The Member of Parliament for Ho West, Hon. Kwasi Bedzrah Emmanuel, together with the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ho West, Hon. Profer Francis Dusey, has commissioned and officially handed over a Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound to the people of Bakpe.
The facility is expected to improve access to essential healthcare services in the community and surrounding areas, bringing primary healthcare closer to residents and reducing the challenges associated with travelling long distances to access medical attention.
The newly commissioned CHPS compound comes with accommodation for health personnel, an important provision expected to support the effective delivery of healthcare services in the area. The accommodation will provide a convenient living arrangement for assigned health workers, potentially improving their availability and responsiveness to the medical needs of residents.
The facility represents an important investment in local healthcare infrastructure and demonstrates the need to provide both essential medical facilities and a supportive working environment for health professionals.
The handover marks another significant step towards improving healthcare delivery and community welfare in the Ho West District.
Through the collaboration between Hon. Bedzrah Emmanuel and Hon. Profer Francis Dusey, the people of Bakpe are expected to benefit from improved access to basic healthcare services within their community. The project further highlights the importance of sustained investment in development, ensuring that communities receive essential social amenities that contribute to better health outcomes and an improved quality of life.
