The Communications Officer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ho Central Constituency, Mr. James Geh, has issued a stern response following the demolition of the party’s constituency and regional structures.

According to Mr. Geh, the demolition was carried out to clear space for a car park intended for President John Dramani Mahama during the 2025 Farmers' Day celebration in Ho. He further alleged that the action was linked to the government's "Big Push" agenda, which necessitated the destruction of the Regional Office's fence wall to accommodate an upcoming dual carriageway project. Expressing deep dissatisfaction with the development, Mr. Geh characterized the act as a politically motivated provocation that demands a direct response.

He argued that the targeting of key party properties under the guise of infrastructural development unfairly undermines the party's local presence in the region. Outlining his form of retaliation, Mr. Geh revealed plans to champion an alternative road development project that will feature a dual carriageway extending directly to Ho Technical University (HTU). He noted that this proposed construction route will inevitably require the demolition of several key properties located around the Nogora Junction, marking a firm stance by the NPP in the constituency to assert its political footprint moving forward.
