A high-level delegation from the Bank of Ghana (BoG), Hohoe Branch, paid a courtesy call on the 66 Artillery Regiment in Ho on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. The team was led by the newly appointed Acting Regional Manager, Mr. Stanley Akabua.
The visit provided an opportunity to formally introduce the new regional leadership to the Commanding Officer (CO) of the Regiment, Lieutenant Colonel Eric Kuudogrme, while deepening the ongoing partnership between both institutions.
Mr. Akabua expressed deep appreciation for the military’s longstanding support in protecting Central Bank operations and reiterated his commitment to building an even stronger relationship during his tenure.
To support the welfare of military personnel, the Acting Regional Manager proposed organizing tailored financial literacy sessions for the officers, noting that the Bank of Ghana is ready to rollout these programs upon request.
Mr. Akabua commended the soldiers posted to guard duties at the Bank for their discipline, professionalism, and dedication. He encouraged personnel deployed on-site to report any operational issues promptly to bank management for quick resolution.
In response, Lt. Col. Kuudogrme welcomed the delegation and acknowledged the mutually beneficial relationship shared by the BoG and the 66 Artillery Regiment. He reaffirmed the Regiment’s dedicated commitment to safeguarding the Bank's operations and facilities.
