The Member of Parliament for Anlo, Hon. Richard Kwame Sefe, has launched an exercise book distribution drive for students across the constituency. Targeting pupils from Primary 3 to Junior High School (JHS) 3 in remote and deprived communities, the initiative ensures that young learners have the essential tools required to succeed in their daily studies.
The ongoing outreach has reached several hard-to-access communities, including Fuveme, Atiteti, Tunu, Bomigo, Kpordui, Sodzi, Adzato, and Akplorfudzi, with additional deprived areas scheduled to receive their supplies in the coming week. By prioritizing these specific locations, the program focuses on closing the resource gap for children living in regions where access to basic educational materials remains a persistent challenge.
Reflecting on the program, Hon. Richard Kwame Sefe emphasized that while providing exercise books might seem like a modest gesture, meaningful and lasting change often begins by removing everyday barriers to learning. He underscored his conviction that no child should be left behind or forced to struggle academically simply because of their family’s financial circumstances or the geographical location of their community.
Expressing deep appreciation to the local stakeholders, the MP extended his gratitude to teachers, community leaders, and parents for their continuous support and collaboration.
