The member of Parliament for South Tongu Hon. Maxwell Kwame Lukutor have approved and funded emergency drip machine works on the Detsawome–Gbenorkope Road to restore access and ease transportation for road users.

The road rehabilitation project has become necessary after sections of the road deteriorated significantly, during the rainy season making vehicular movement most difficult and threatening to isolate the affected communities. Portions of the road are totally inaccessible and poses danger.

In a manner of quickly resolving this problems, the reshaping works have been successfully completed, improving access for commuters, farmers, traders, school children and all road users most especially vehicles.

This initiative will not bring light to only the Detsawome-Gbenorkope road as other underdeveloped roads in constituency are also being scheduled for this very course. The Honourable MP is committed to solving issues in relation to developments of the constituency most importantly focusing on infrastructure.
