"Big Push Project Not For Sale" Minister Agbodza Warns the Public

Kwame Governs Agbodza; the honourable Minister for Roads and Highways has atated emphatically and informing the public to desist from entertaining anyone or contractors trying to lure people and companies into purchasing of the Government's flagship Big Push Programme contracts. He further urged that anyone claiming to be selling government road contracts should be reported to the nearest police station.

On twitter X, the Minister cautioned the public against falling victim to fraudsters purporting to have access to contracts under the initiative.

“BIG PUSH projects NOT FOR SALE. Report ANYONE offering a ‘Big Push project’ for sale to the nearest police station,” he wrote.

His warning follows reports that some individuals/ fraudsters are allegedly claiming on social media to have access to contracts under the government’s flagship road infrastructure programme and offering them for sale.

The Minister stressed that anyone involved in such activities should be reported immediately for investigation and possible prosecution, reaffirming the government’s commitment to transparency and accountability in the implementation of the Big Push initiative.

Hon Agbodza’s words have triggered a lot of concerns with people reporting that they have had similar encounters on social media.
