As part of ongoing monitoring efforts across the region, Volta Regional NDC Coordinator Hon. Siki Abibu led a team to inspect key school infrastructure projects in the North Dayi District this week.
The tour began at Anfoega Senior High School (Anfoega SHS), where the team inspected the progress of a new two-storey girls’ dormitory block. Construction on the facility started in May 2026 and is scheduled for completion within 12 months.
Once finished, the dormitory will expand residential capacity for female students while offering a safer, more supportive environment for learning and living.
The delegation also visited the school’s ultra-modern dining hall complex. Work on the complex originally started in 2016 but faced an eight-year delay before construction restarted in 2025.
The project is now on track to be completed and officially handed over by the end of 2026, finally resolving a long-standing infrastructure challenge for the school community.
