The Member of Parliament for Ho Central has launched a constituency-wide distribution of assorted textbooks and learning materials to schools across the region. The initiative kicked off at Sokode Senior High Technical School (SOSEC), where students and teaching staff warmly received the first batch of educational resources designed to enhance academic performance and research capabilities.
The exercise is being carried out with the strategic support of the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund). Accompanied by dedicated Ho Central Constituency Executives and staff from the MP’s office, the presentation team highlighted a shared commitment to strengthening educational infrastructure and ensuring that learners in both urban and rural communities have access to quality study resources.
Addressing the gathering, the MP emphasized that empowering the youth through literacy remains a top priority for his office. He noted that every book placed in the hands of a student represents a direct investment in a brighter, more prosperous future for the constituency and the nation at large.
The initiative aims to inspire students to remain steadfast, disciplined, and deeply focused on their academic pursuits as they strive for excellence. School authorities and student representatives expressed heartfelt gratitude for the gesture, reassuring the MP and his delegation that the materials would be put to effective use to raise educational standards across Ho Central.
