The Akatsi North Constituency, Member of Parliament Hon. Peter Nortsu-Kotoe has spearheaded two transformative community projects aimed at strengthening basic education. The dual event, which brought together community leaders, educators, and local stakeholders, featured the official sod-cutting ceremony for a new 3-Unit Classroom Block alongside the commissioning of a fully completed Three-Unit Kindergarten Block. These developments mark a significant step forward in improving learning conditions and expanding access to quality early childhood education across the constituency.

The commissioning of the newly constructed kindergarten block was met with great enthusiasm by residents, teachers, and parents alike. Designed to provide a safe, modern, and stimulating environment for early learners, the facility is equipped to lay a strong foundational groundwork for young pupils entering the formal school system. Speaking at the ceremony, Hon. Peter Nortsu-Kotoe highlighted the vital role early childhood education plays in long-term academic success, reaffirming his unwavering commitment to ensuring that every child in Akatsi North receives the quality start they deserve.

In tandem with the commissioning, the MP formally broke ground for the construction of an additional 3-Unit Classroom Block. This new infrastructure project is set to ease overcrowding, upgrade local facilities, and provide a conducive academic atmosphere for older students. Hon. Nortsu-Kotoe noted that investing in school infrastructure remains one of his top priorities, assuring constituents that he will continue to lobby for and deliver key development projects that directly impact the social and economic wellbeing of the constituency.

The vibrant occasion was also graced by Hon. Bless Kodjo Katamani, whose presence underscored the collective effort and unity driving development initiatives within the region. Local chiefs, education directors, and community members commended the leaders for their proactive vision and dedication to human capital development. As construction begins on the new block and young learners step into their upgraded classrooms, the event stands as a shining testament to the power of targeted leadership in transforming the educational landscape of Akatsi North.
