Hon. Kobena Mensah Woyome Celebrates Birthday : Donates to Maternity Ward at Richard Novati Catholic Hospital

​Former South Tongu Member of Parliament, Hon. Kobena Mensah Woyome, marked his birthday by presenting gift hampers to the maternity ward of the Richard Novati Catholic Hospital (Comboni) in Sogakope. The celebratory presentation took place at the hospital premises, where the former lawmaker officially handed over the items to the facility’s administrator to aid newborn infants and mothers receiving care at the health center. 

​The donated hampers contained essential maternal and newborn care items curated to alleviate some of the immediate needs of nursing mothers and newborn babies at the facility. Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Woyome emphasized that celebrating his birthday with the vulnerable and supporting quality healthcare delivery remains a priority close to his heart. He noted that giving back to mothers and newborns at the Richard Novati Catholic Hospital is a meaningful way to reflect on his life’s journey while continuously contributing to the well-being of the South Tongu constituency.

​Receiving the items on behalf of the management and patients, the Hospital Administrator expressed deep appreciation to Hon. Woyome for his thoughtful gesture and persistent commitment to public health in the area. The administrator commended the former legislator for choosing to mark his special day by touching lives in the maternity ward, assuring that the hampers would be distributed directly to deserving nursing mothers to ease their post-natal experience.
