Modern KG Block at Kpeyiborkorpe

Hon. Eric Agbana, the Member of Parliament for Ketu North, has officially commissioned and handed over a newly completed Kindergarten (KG) Block along with ancillary facilities to the Kpeyiborkope Community. The colourful ceremony marked a major milestone in the community’s development, with residents turning out in large numbers to celebrate the delivery of this vital educational asset. The project underscores the MP’s commitment to improving access to quality education at the foundational level.

The modern KG facility was delivered through a successful collaboration between Pencil of Promise and the Office of the Member of Parliament. Designed to meet contemporary standards for early childhood education, the block includes well-ventilated classrooms, play areas, and supporting amenities aimed at creating a conducive learning environment for young children. This initiative reflects a shared vision between the non-governmental organisation and the MP to address gaps in educational infrastructure within rural communities.

Speaking at the handover, Hon. Eric Agbana emphasised the critical role of early childhood education in laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning and national development. He expressed gratitude to Pencil of Promise for their expertise and dedication, noting that the partnership has successfully translated commitment into tangible results for the children of Kpeyiborkope. The MP assured residents of continued efforts to enhance educational opportunities across the constituency.

The commissioning of the new KG Block is expected to significantly enhance enrolment and learning outcomes in the community while easing the burden on existing facilities. Residents have welcomed the development as a clear demonstration of responsive leadership and effective collaboration. As Kpeyiborkope embraces this new chapter in education, the project stands as a shining example of how targeted investments in early childhood development can drive long-term community progress.
