The Volta Regional Minister Hon. James Gunu on Thursday 13th August, 2026 received a delegation comprising the management and technical team of Sunset Football Club, a Division Two side, led by Raymond K. Tsiagbe, Communications and Brands Manager, at my office in Ho.
The visit is geared towards discussing the club's betterment and firmness in or off pitch ranging down from finance to performance. Discussions are tired to the club's activities, aspirations and contribution to football development in the Volta Region at large. The delegation is clear and intentional about the club's visions and goals.
The Minister commended the team for nurturing young talents and encouraged them to uphold discipline, teamwork and excellence.
This reaffirmed the Regional Co-ordinating Council’s commitment to supporting sports development and youth opportunities, in line with President John Dramani Mahama’s vision to revitalise sports in Ghana.
