Togbe Tenuvi II of Aflao (known in private life as Akonta Felix Akakpo) has donated GH₵10,000.00 to the Ketu South Municipal Sports Directorate.
The cash donation was presented on his behalf by Mr. Ferguson Ahorlu to Mr. Stanley Kwawuvi, the Sports Coordinator for Ketu South Municipality.
This financial boost comes in response to an official appeal for support from the Directorate. The funds are earmarked to aid the Ketu South team as they prepare for the 55th Inter-Districts Sports Festival, taking place at Akatsi Senior High Technical School from Saturday, August 15, to Friday, August 21, 2026.
The support aims to give young athletes the resources they need to successfully defend their overall championship title, which they secured in 2025 by winning four out of eight trophies.
While education remains Togbe Tenuvi II’s main priority, he views school sports as an essential component of youth development. Over the years, he has consistently invested in initiatives that transform the academic and social lives of children across Ketu South, helping shape them into productive citizens.
Acknowledging the financial constraints facing school sports, Togbe Tenuvi II highlighted the need for community stakeholders to step in.
