NPP Central Tongu Strengthens Leadership with New Executive Appointments

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Central Tongu Constituency of the Volta Region has officially announced the appointment of additional constituency executives. In a formal letter dated 20th July 2026 and addressed to the Regional Chairman of the NPP Volta Region, the party invoked Article 7(11) of its constitution to make these strategic appointments following consultations with the Regional Executive Committee on 19th July 2026. The move aims to bolster the party's organizational capacity and grassroots presence in the constituency.

The appointments cover key positions essential for effective party operations. Mr Nego Elorm has been named Financial Secretary, while Mr Nyamedi Isaac Selorm takes on the role of Research Officer. Mr Adzrago Ernest Anderson was appointed Electoral Affairs Officer, and Mr Fianyo Eric will serve as PWD Coordinator. These roles are expected to enhance financial management, policy research, electoral readiness, and inclusion of persons with disabilities within the constituency’s structures.

Further strengthening the team, Miss Xorlali Tsatey was appointed Deputy Organizer, Miss Michelle Adika as Deputy Women Organizer, Mr Lutterodt Gerhardt as Deputy Youth Organizer, and Mr Akilu Gibrila as Deputy NASRA Organizer. The appointments take immediate effect from Monday, 20th July 2026, positioning the new executives to contribute actively to the party’s development agenda in the Volta Region.
