The Member of Parliament for Ho West, Hon. Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah, on Monday, 12th October 2026, officially launched the first phase of his comprehensive constituency-wide engagement as part of activities for the parliamentary recess. Designed to directly connect with constituents, listen to localized concerns, and deliver targeted support, this outreach initiative underlines the MP's continued dedication to community development and grassroots empowerment across the district.
A central highlight of the ongoing tour is the rollout of major agricultural support aimed at boosting local food production and relieving economic pressures on rural households. As part of the engagement, Hon. Bedzrah is distributing 5,000 bags of 50kg NPK fertilizers to farmers across Ho West. Recognizing that community growth relies on multi-sectoral collaboration, the MP extended this critical agricultural assistance beyond local farming groups to also benefit staff from the District Education Directorate, local teachers, and assembly members.
The first leg of the constituency tour saw the MP and his delegation visit several communities, engaging with traditional leaders, local workers, and residents. Hon. Bedzrah took his engagement to Bame, Kpale Xorse, Kpalega, Etordome, Hlefi, Wadaxame, Anfoeta Gbogame, Anfoeta Tsebi, and Saviefe Gborgame. In each locality, the MP held open discussions on pressing local issues while personally overseeing the distribution of the fertilizer inputs to ensure fair and direct allocation to beneficiaries.
The outreach effort has been warmly received by community leaders and constituents, who commended Hon. Bedzrah for utilizing his parliamentary recess to engage directly with his people. Beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the timely supply of fertilizers, noting that the gesture will significantly ease input costs and improve crop yields. The MP is scheduled to continue his tour across remaining communities in Ho West in the coming days as the first phase of the recess engagement unfolds.
