The highly competitive MTN Elite U19 Championship came to an exciting conclusion yesterday at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence.
In a dramatic final match, the Ashanti Region Warriors edged out defending champions Eastern Region 4-3 to claim the trophy, bringing an outstanding tournament to a fitting end.
Following the event, Hon. Edem Agbana extended heartfelt gratitude to the Ghana Football Association leadership led by President Kurt Okraku, MTN Ghana, the Regional Football Associations, the Catch Them Young Referees, coaches, team officials, volunteers, and all partners whose dedication made the tournament a success.
While the matches were fiercely contested, the tournament's greatest triumph lies in giving young Ghanaian footballers a platform to showcase their talent, develop their skills, and gain visibility.
