The South Tongu District Assembly has invited all Assembly Members within the district to a two-day nationwide Next Generation Leadership Training workshop. Organized by the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development in partnership with the Institute of Local Government Studies, the national capacity-building program will take place on Monday, September 7, and Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at the South Tongu District Assembly Hall in Sogakope, beginning at 8:30 a.m. daily.
The training session is designed to strengthen the capacity of local representatives by providing them with practical leadership skills and contemporary governance approaches to improve public service delivery and drive community development.
Speaking on behalf of the District Chief Executive, Hon. Victoria Dzeklo, the District Coordinating Director, Shaibu Imoro Briamah, called for full attendance from all Assembly Members, the Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Maxwell Kwame Lukutor, and key administrative figures across the district.
