The MCE for South Tongu Hon. Dzeklo Victoria receives a joint delegation from the Fisheries Commission and the leadership executives of the AquaCCop project for a strategic deliberation.
The session was dedicated to technical deliberations, site evaluation, and operational alignment necessary to kick-start the Aquaculture Community Commercialisation Programme (AquaCCop) across our district. This move is intended to bring alive an earlier discussion about introducing and commercialising supporting constituents to venture into Aquatic Farming.
Present at this important visit are Mr. David Awuku-Nyanteh from the Fisheries Commission in Sogakope, along with the full executive committee - Chairman Godson Agbemasu, Vice Chairman Daniel Kwasi Gattor, Organiser Emmanuel Akpatsu, Treasurer Atwor Alice, Secretary Keny Seth Agbesi, Media & Public Relations Officer Peter Narteh Agbeyome.
This is a step forward to taking decisive, practical steps to ensure the flagship initiative delivers sustainable economic opportunities, empowers local youth, and transforms South Tongu into a vibrant aquaculture hub.
