Gospel singer Perez Musik has revealed that losing his studio to a fire was the ultimate turning point that forced him to quit secular music.
Speaking on Joy News' The Career Trail, the artiste admitted he had brushed off multiple prophetic warnings to dedicate his talent to God. At the time, he enjoyed running his studio and producing tracks for secular acts, including Article Wan.
He recalled receiving a divine warning right in the shop while buying his recording equipment: "If all this burns down, what will you do?" He ignored the voice and bought the items anyway.
On December 24th, that nightmare came true. Within minutes of stepping away from his setup, the entire studio was consumed by fire.
Despite the destruction, Perez Musik considers the disaster a blessing in disguise. He says the loss realigned his priorities, proving that material wealth is fleeting compared to a spiritual path. The experience sparked a complete life reset leading him to give up alcohol and smoking, throw himself into scripture, and devote his music exclusively to God.
