Earlier today, the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, joined worshipers at St. Patrick’s Anglican Church in Kpando to witness the Episcopal Ordination and Consecration of the Rt. Revd. Canon Selorm Selin Sefakor Mereku, SSC, as the new Bishop Coadjutor of Ho.
Hon. Gunu was accompanied by several key leaders, including the Member of Parliament for Kpando, Hon. Sebastian Deh; the Kpando Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Killian Donkor; and the NDC Kpando Constituency Chairman, Mr. Godfred Agbeteti.
The solemn service was presided over by the Most Reverend Cyril K. Ben-Smith, PhD., Metropolitan Archbishop and Primate of the Church of the Province of West Africa (CPWA), alongside fellow bishops of the province.
Hon. Gunu’s presence highlights his continued commitment to fostering strong relationships with all religious communities across the region. His active engagement reflects his humility and dedication to serving the public in his capacity as Regional Minister.
We extend our prayers and best wishes to Rt. Revd. Canon Mereku as he assumes this pivotal role in ministry.
