The Ho Teaching Hospital (HTH) joined hundreds of well-wishers, institutions, and traditional authorities on Friday, October 2, 2026, to pay homage to Togbe Afede XIV, Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State. The ceremonial visit formed part of the activities marking this year’s Asogli Te Za (Yam Festival), held at the forecourt of the Asogli Palace in Ho. A high-powered delegation representing HTH, led by the Director of Human Resources alongside other directors, presented traditional offerings to the Asogli State during the Agbogbomefia's sitting-in-state. The annual gathering serves as a vital platform for corporate, religious, and community leaders to honor the traditional leadership and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the area. Speaking on behalf of the hospital management, the delegation reiterated HTH's dedication to building stronger ties with the Asogli State and the wider community. They highlighted that delivering high-quality healthcare depends heavily on robust partnerships with traditional authorities and local community members, whose support remains vital for public health initiatives. In response, the festival organizers expressed deep appreciation on behalf of Togbe Afede XIV to HTH and all participating delegations for their homage and support. Celebrated under the theme of unity and development, this year's Asogli Te Za continues to draw leaders and citizens from across the Volta Region and beyond to foster collaborative progress.
