Personnel from the Ghana Air Force were among 297 Ghana Armed Forces members affected by the recent floods who received relief items on 31 July 2026 at Nicholson Sports Stadium in Burma Camp.
The High Command provided bags of rice, cooking oil, mattresses, blankets, soaps, mosquito nets and some money to support those whose homes and property were damaged.
Chief of the Defence Staff Lieutenant General William Agyapong said the gifts show care from the leadership and cannot replace all losses. He announced a new counselling unit at 37 Military Hospital and promised faster work to improve military housing.
The beneficiaries thanked the High Command for the timely help and pledged to remain dedicated to their duties while rebuilding their lives.
