The GNAT Hall in Ho came alive with color, rhythm, and tradition as the Asogli State officially inaugurated Asogli Te Zá 2026. Bringing together traditional leaders, government officials, corporate figures, and local community members, the launch served as a powerful tribute to Asogli’s deep-rooted cultural legacy.
Attendees were treated to electrifying live performances by the Asogli Asafo Group, the Takla Jama Group, and the Kpenoe Bɔbɔbɔ Troupe each delivering a vivid display of the region’s rich artistic heritage.
Presiding over the ceremony on behalf of the Volta Regional Minister was the Municipal Chief Executive for Ho, Hon. Stephen Adom. The occasion was also honored by the presence of key traditional custodians, including Togbe Kotoku XI, Paramount Chief of the Kpenoe Traditional Area, and Togbe Ayim Adzokoto, Paramount Chief of the Takla Traditional Area. Their participation underscored a strong, unified front among the leadership of the Asogli State.
This year’s festival is themed “United in Purpose, Investing in People and Infrastructure for Sustainable National Development.” Beyond celebrating history and custom, the 2026 launch reinforces a broader vision: harnessing cultural pride and solidarity to drive local tourism, human capital, and critical infrastructure growth across the nation.
