The executive leadership of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) recently conducted an official working visit to the Ashanti Regional Office in Kumasi. This visit is a core component of the Agency’s ongoing nationwide regional engagement strategy.
The primary objectives of this initiative include; Enhancing Staff Engagement, Strengthening Institutional Collaboration and Strategic Vision Alignment
The visit was led by the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Malik Basintale, accompanied by the Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of Operations, Mr. Abubakari Abdul Saana Kudus.
According to the delegation member Mr. Kudus, CEO Malik Basintale commended the Ashanti Regional team for their dedication and hard work, which have significantly contributed to the Agency’s impressive beneficiary enrollment figures. He highlighted the successful rollout of the Community Medical First Responders (CMFR) module, describing it as a historic initiative and the first of its kind in Ghana’s employment landscape.
The CEO also announced the upcoming rollout of the Jobs Connect App, a digital platform that will register beneficiaries of YEA’s skills training programmes and seamlessly connect them with employment opportunities across the country whenever demand arises.
As part of the visit, Mr. Basintale officially handed over skills training equipment to the Ashanti Regional Director for onward distribution to beneficiaries, reaffirming the Agency’s commitment to equipping young people with the tools needed to build sustainable livelihoods.
