The Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Mr. Malik Basintale, has officially delivered a collection of trade equipment to the Western North Regional Director for distribution to local trainees.
The gear covers a broad spectrum of vocational trades, including carpentry, electrical engineering, auto mechanics, construction, tailoring, beauty care, hairdressing, and commercial baking.
This handover highlights YEA’s core mission to provide practical support alongside technical instruction. By offering hands-on equipment, the Agency ensures that young trainees can put their skills into immediate practice, earn a living, and secure long-term financial independence.
Speaking during the presentation, Mr. Basintale emphasized that practical training must be matched with proper tools so that beneficiaries can build lasting, productive careers rather than just acquiring certificates.
The equipment will now be systematically handed over to beneficiaries across the Western North Region to launch their independent trade journeys.
