2 min read

A high-powered delegation from the Volta Regional House of Chiefs, led by its President and Paramount Chief of the Anfoega Traditional Area, Togbe Tepre Hodo IV, paid a courtesy visit to the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, at his office in Accra on Wednesday.

The visit served a dual purpose: to extend warm birthday wishes to the Minister and to formally congratulate him on his appointment to head the Foreign Affairs Ministry. Beyond the celebrations, the delegation sought to deepen collaborative ties between the traditional leadership of the Volta Region and the Ministry.

Expressing deep gratitude for the honor, Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa acknowledged the significance of the gesture, noting his appreciation for the delegation traveling to the capital. He revealed that while he had originally planned to visit the House of Chiefs in the region, the traditional leaders generously insisted on making the journey to Accra instead.

During the interaction, Togbe Tepre Hodo IV commended the Foreign Minister for his dedicated service, highlighting noticeable progress and positive developments driven by the Minister's steadfast commitment to advancing the interests of the region. Both parties reaffirmed their shared dedication to maintaining strong channels of communication and mutual support moving forward.
