Toklokpo Community Centre Construction Officially Begins

In a moment of immense pride and progress for the people of Toklokpo, construction has officially commenced on the much-anticipated Toklokpo Community Centre. The historic ground-breaking ceremony symbolises the successful translation of promises made during the Dunenyo Annual Fundraising event into tangible development. Community leaders, donors, and residents gathered to witness this milestone, marking the beginning of a facility that will serve as a hub for education, social gatherings, and digital connectivity in the area.

The project gained significant momentum through the generous support of Hon Victoria Dzeklo, who donated 50 bags of cement and 2,000 Cedis towards the initiative. In her remarks, Hon Dzeklo emphasised the importance of unity and urged continued cooperation with the Assembly Member, Francis Agbedeke Quarshie. Her contribution and call to action highlighted the spirit of collective responsibility that has driven the Community Centre from vision to reality.

Adding to this foundation of support, Assembly Member Francis Agbedeke Quarshie himself donated 25 bags of cement and 2,000 Cedis specifically for the Toklokpo Community Centre Project. His personal commitment reinforced the leadership role he continues to play in championing local development initiatives and ensuring that community needs are addressed through practical action.

Further bolstering the project’s prospects, Hon Edem Bernard Dzinyela ESQ made a substantial contribution of 1,000 Cedis, 30 bags of cement, 10 computers, and Wi-Fi equipment. This comprehensive donation not only strengthens the physical construction but also lays the groundwork for the centre to become a modern facility equipped for learning and technological advancement within the community.
