VEDIO: Togbe Atsuga Sogah II Calls for Transparency and Accountability in Flood Relief Efforts

Togbe Atsuga Sogah II, the Dufiaga of Sogakope and Divisional Chief of the Fievie Traditional Area, has voiced deep concern over the ongoing plight of victims affected by the 29th flood disaster in Sogakope and its surrounding communities. Speaking on the challenges faced by residents in the wake of the flooding, the respected traditional leader highlighted the urgent need for sustained support and effective management of resources earmarked for relief and reconstruction.

The chief stressed the critical role of traditional authorities and citizens in closely monitoring developmental projects initiated by district and municipal assemblies. He urged all stakeholders to remain vigilant in tracking the implementation of these initiatives to guarantee that allocated resources are utilized efficiently and for their intended purposes, preventing any form of mismanagement or diversion that could further exacerbate the hardships of flood victims.
