Residents Praise Afadzato South MP for Reconstructing Have-Aveyoyoe Bridge

2 min read

Residents and youth groups across the Afadzato South Constituency have expressed overwhelming gratitude to their Member of Parliament, Hon. Frank Afriyie, following the successful reconstruction of the severely deteriorated Have-Aveyoyoe bridge. For months, the broken structure posed significant safety hazards to commuters and virtually paralyzed economic activity by cutting off critical transport links between local farming communities and regional markets. Hon. Afriyie’s swift intervention to rehabilitate the crossing has restored vital access and brought profound relief to the entire district.

Speaking during a community gathering to inspect the completed project, local youth leaders and residents lauded the MP for his proactive leadership and quick response to their urgent plight. Many highlighted how the reconstructed bridge has immediately eased everyday travel, reduced transportation costs, and restored safe passage for school children and healthcare vehicles. "He is a workaholic man and deserves to be praised for always prioritizing our community’s needs over excuses," declared one youth representative, echoing the enthusiastic sentiment shared by residents throughout the area.

In response to the commendations, community elders noted that the timely delivery of the Have-Aveyoyoe bridge reflects Hon. Frank Afriyie’s broader dedication to grassroots development and infrastructural improvement across Afadzato South. They encouraged him to maintain his hands-on approach to governance, assuring him of their continued support as he works to address other pressing developmental challenges in the constituency.
