President John Dramani Mahama has officially inaugurated the Northshore Apparel Hub in Savelugu, located in the Northern Region. Built as a flagship project under the government’s 24-Hour Economy initiative, the state-of-the-art facility is set to transform the local manufacturing landscape.
The new hub aims to create sustainable jobs, spur regional economic growth, and reinforce Ghana’s position within the textile and garment sector.
Key dignitaries attending the commissioning included the Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare; the German Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Frederik Landshöft; the Presidential Advisor on the 24-Hour Economy Initiative, Goosie Tanoh; and the Chief Executive of the Ghana Export-Import Bank, Hon. Sylvester Adinam Mensah.
Designed with environmental responsibility in mind, the Northshore Apparel Hub utilizes zero-waste manufacturing and eco-friendly practices, aligning industrial expansion with national sustainability goals.
