Speaking at a press conference in the regional capital, Ho, Hon. Woanya accompanied by Regional Youth Organizer Mayor Senyo and other key executive members addressed the loss of $1.7 billion (approximately GH¢22 billion) reported by Goldbod in 2025, as well as the subsequent public statements made by the organization's CEO.
During the briefing, the Regional Chairman called on President John Dramani Mahama to take action against Sammy Gyamfi following his recent remarks aimed at Minority Leader Hon.
