On Thursday, 20 August 2026, Naval Headquarters staged its inaugural Combat Fitness Test (CFT) for officers, senior rates, and ratings at Burma Camp.
Organized as part of the headquarters' regular physical conditioning regimen, the exercise evaluates and enhances the endurance, physical stamina, resilience, and operational readiness of naval personnel.
Led by Naval Captain Festus Osei-Brobbery, Director of Naval Training at Naval Headquarters, participants completed a 12-kilometer route. The march kicked off at Naval Headquarters, passed through the La general area, and concluded at Burma Camp's Nicholson Sports Stadium.
Throughout the trek, personnel marched in military formation, demonstrating exceptional discipline, maintaining the required pace, and showing strong camaraderie and determination.
The test reflects Naval Headquarters' ongoing commitment to fostering a physically fit, highly capable force ready to execute its core operational mandates.
