Nana Ampadu Continues to Empower South Tongu Sanitation Drive-Details

When it comes to building strong, vibrant communities, true progress is rarely achieved through government policy alone. It requires local champions who are willing to step up, take responsibility, and turn shared national goals into practical action on the ground. In a inspiring show of civic leadership, renowned building materials supplier Nana Ampadu has generously donated essential practical sanitation equipment to empower volunteers and district officials in South Tongu ahead of the upcoming National Sanitation Day exercise.

Driven by a desire to ensure smooth preparation and high operational readiness, Nana Ampadu proactively reached out to Hon. Paul Fiador, Assembly Member for Sogakope North. Recognizing the importance of district-wide coordination, Hon. Fiador joined forces with Hon. Williams Kofi Gleku, Assembly Member for Sogakope South, alongside local team members and the District Environmental Health Officer, to receive the items on behalf of the district. The generous donation comprising two sturdy wheelbarrows, five standing brooms, five shovels, five rakes, and high-visibility reflective safety vests provides crucial physical resources and safety gear for the volunteers working on the frontlines of community hygiene.

This thoughtful contribution goes beyond the physical tools themselves; it stands as a powerful reminder that keeping our surroundings clean, safe, and sustainable is a collective national duty. While the President’s National Sanitation Day initiative provides the vision, its ultimate success relies heavily on active partnerships between government bodies, traditional authorities, local businesses, and everyday citizens. Nana Ampadu’s proactive support models the exact spirit of shared responsibility needed to drive long-term environmental change across Ghana.

As South Tongu prepares for the upcoming sanitation exercise, community members and local leaders extend their deepest gratitude to Nana Ampadu for his timely and impactful generosity. Equipped with proper tools and high-visibility safety wear, local teams are better prepared than ever to roll up their sleeves and work toward a cleaner, healthier district. It is through dedicated acts of citizenship like this that South Tongu continues to set a benchmark for civic pride and environmental sustainability.
